Leslie Stenkamp
Veterinarian
Dr. Leslie Stenkamp has always had a passion for veterinary medicine. She grew up all over the United States with a father serving in the Army. After graduating high school, she went straight to training at the Coast Guard Academy and earned her bachelors of Science degree in 2012. Post- graduation, she served active duty for five years stationed on 410’ Cutter Stratton and District 11 (California Coast) Aids to Navigation. She attended Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts in the Caribbean and finished much of her clinical year at University College of Dublin, Ireland. She graduated in 2024. After a life of travel, Dr. Stenkamp is excited to settle in Central Oregon, as she has always hoped since childhood.
Dr. Stenkamp’s main interests in veterinary medicine are companion animal surgery, wound care, community outreach, as well as volunteering internationally in underserved communities. She also has a special interest in pocket pets, exotics and acupuncture. She has a Great Dane named Euro and an island kitty named Freska that was rescued from St. Kitts. Outside of work, she enjoys all things outdoors, including snowboarding, horseback riding, motorcycle riding, hiking with the dog, and volleyball.
