Here at HomeTown Animal Hospital, we are proud to offer orthopedic surgery to our patients.
Common orthopedic surgeries include cruciate repairs, complex bone fracture repairs, and arthroscopic procedures. Our veterinarians treat bones, joints, and spines to allow pets to move the way they should.
Orthopedic surgery requires more care throughout the whole procedure than other types of surgery. We are here to discuss the surgery in detail before you fully decide to proceed. We will take the best care of your pets during the procedure and while they are staying in the hospital. We will also talk you through the post-op care. We require follow-up appointments so we can make sure your pets are healing the way they should be.
As animal owners, we understand how stressful surgery can be. We are here for you, too! We will talk you through the whole process and what you should expect. We will answer all of your questions. We will also keep you informed while your pets are staying with us. We are only a phone call away if you have any questions after you get your pets home.
If you have any questions about surgery or would like to schedule an appointment, feel free to contact us today.
We had an emergency with what we believe was a poisoned terrier. They took us right in and took fantastic care of our little loved one. They kept her all day but by days end she was doing better. Now she has made a full recovery but it sure was scary there for a little while. Dr. Palmer and all the staff were awesome! I just wanted everyone to know that Hometown made us feel like family. Little Frankie thanks you too!

The staff at Hometown are so unbelievably amazing. They truly care for our extended family members. I can't say enough great things especially Dr. Munck she has a special place in our hearts. She took such great care of our pup when he was sick. Thank you so much!!!

Thanks to Dr. Amy for her kind compassionate care with our very old Dachshund. We were on vacation when our 15yr old doxie got very ill. Unfortunately we had to make that very hard end of life decision. Dr. Amy led us through the procedure, cried with us and gave us hugs. Thank you very much!!!

They are the best. Amy is amazing and so kind. She helped us with our pitty max who ended up having to put down because of cancer. She was there every step of the way making sure he was happy and comfortable.
