Emergency Service

Here at HomeTown Animal Hospital, we are proud to be here for our patients in times of emergency. We know that emergencies happen and usually at the worst time. Don’t worry! We are here for you no matter what time it is.

After your call, one of our dedicated veterinarians will get to your farm as soon as possible. We are here for you during our regular business hours, and we also have a veterinarian on call if the need for a visit arises after hours.

It is our goal to get your animal feeling better as quickly as possible, and we will do everything we can to help.

Our veterinarians are dedicated to your animal. After a thorough examination, we will go over your options for diagnosing and treating your animal so that he or she can get back to normal quickly. We will then do everything we can to make sure that your animal feels better as soon as possible.

We know how stressful emergencies can be on owners so we are also here for you. We will be happy to assess the situation and go over your options. We will give you all the time you need to make sure you are making the best decision for your animal.

We had an emergency with what we believe was a poisoned terrier. They took us right in and took fantastic care of our little loved one. They kept her all day but by days end she was doing better. Now she has made a full recovery but it sure was scary there for a little while. Dr. Palmer and all the staff were awesome! I just wanted everyone to know that Hometown made us feel like family. Little Frankie thanks you too!

The staff at Hometown are so unbelievably amazing. They truly care for our extended family members. I can't say enough great things especially Dr. Munck she has a special place in our hearts. She took such great care of our pup when he was sick. Thank you so much!!!

Thanks to Dr. Amy for her kind compassionate care with our very old Dachshund. We were on vacation when our 15yr old doxie got very ill. Unfortunately we had to make that very hard end of life decision. Dr. Amy led us through the procedure, cried with us and gave us hugs. Thank you very much!!!

They are the best. Amy is amazing and so kind. She helped us with our pitty max who ended up having to put down because of cancer. She was there every step of the way making sure he was happy and comfortable.
